20090101: Thawte stops Netscape Code Signing certificates

Thawte informs that, during 2009 Thawte Code Signing for Netscape (NSCodeSigning) products won't be available to sale anymore. Indeed Netscape tools are not maintained anymore (abandonned by AOL).

Actually it is not possible to order this kind of product since December 2008 due to a bug in Thawte order system.

Thawte advises its customers to use code signing certificates based on JDK technology (Oracle Java) to sign this kinf of component.

You'll only have to order a Thawte Code Signing cerificate for Adobe Air with Firefox to obtain a similar certificate.
