20100527: Comodo replaces its certification chain for EV certificates and some OV ones

Comodo replaced its certification chain in order to enhance the browsers recognition and reduce the chain length.

Here is the structure of the new EV chain:

End-entity EV SSL Certificate
Comodo EV certificates delivered by TBS internet are impacted by this replacement.

Here is the structure of the new OV chain:

End-entity OV SSL Certificate
TBS internet do not supply OV certificates impacted by this replacement.

The structure of the new chain exploits Microsoft AIA functions, compatibles with IE 5.5+.

Windows 2000 with IE 5.01 is also compatible. Windows 98 under IE 5.01 performance has not been tested for they are considered as IE 5.5+ compatible.

On other browsers, no changes, they remain compatible with Netscape 4.77+, Mozilla / Firefox / SeaMonkey / Camino, Safari, Chrome and J2RE 1.5.0_08.
