20101010: VeriSign replaces its 1024-bit roots
VeriSign replaces its roots and intermediate certificate on October 2010. It concerns all VeriSign server certificates and Thawte Supercert certificate.Official notifications: The browsers recognition won't be impacted much thanks to crossed certification with former roots.
From october the 10th, certificates with a 3-years (and more) lifetime certificates must be issued with a 2048-bit key. It will become mandatory in January 2011.
